Michael Turner sucessfully retained his Beverley branch player of the year award for the 2008/2009 just edging out Ian Ashbee in the voting. Michael was presented with the award at the OSC player of the year awards in May. Photos are up in the gallery.
If there are any members who are unable to attend our event on 6th may (see events for more information) but would still like to vote for our branch player of the year simply send a email to beverley_osc@hotmail.co.uk with your name, Supporters club number (Found on your OSC Card) and your 3 selections numbered 1,2,3. if you wish to vote this way send your email before 5pm on wednesday 6th May or your vote may not be counted.
Our next scheduled event will take place on Tuesday 7th April 2009 at the Foresters Arms in Beverley. A guest from the club is yet to be confirmed. furthermore we are looking to schedule an event for the end of April/early May at which we will hold our branch player of the year voting so get thinking as to who you want as the Beverley branch player of the year? will Michael Turner retain? or will somebody else pick up the award?
